    Medical marijuana treatment for depression

    Hi,
I broke up with my boyfriend whom I have been dating for the last five years. I was really serious about him. At a point, we were thinking about marriage, kids, and future cities had all been laid out before us. But I don’t know what happened last month. He started to maintain a distance from me. The last conversation was completely heartbreaking, and it was a day before I was set to leave town for a while to visit family. It broke my heart. While on the way to the airport, he told about his partner and I ended up punching him. I never doubted him. He cheated on me. Now I'm not able to do my works or anything. I feel like I'm completely lost. I have heard about medical marijuana treatment from a friend which is suitable for depression. Is that true? I have taken an appointment in a nearby clinic for medical marijuana. Will this medical marijuana help me out? Share your views.

Well as a medical marijuana user I want to first say that all those feelings you are having right now are perfectly normal. Sure you can attempt to numb them but when you 'come down' or not using they are still there and need to be dealt with. I would say maybe some therapy to start. I believe your depression to be temporary and therefore not in need of MMJ. Yes I do use it to treat my anxiety and depression but it is a big step to start a medication and not seek alternative routes. Just my opinion. Be well.

Journal, cry, yell, even throw a plate. Go to the gym and beat the crap outta a punching bag, scream into a pillow.

Just one more thing, how long have you been using medical marijuana for your anxiety and depression.

I started using for pain in 2012 but then discovered how well it helps to manage severe anxiety and depression, I am Bipolar II with severe anxiety and depression, so have continued to use it.
