Another sleepless night. But it's not nights in a row....I don't think. It seems to happen pretty often. But I'll get a nap this afternoon....I do think.

Let's see, today, then tomorrow, then it's PAYDAY!

After I do my running around on that blessed day, I'm going to make a purchase online through Amazon. I love shopping with them for everything but groceries, and think I could even do that, but I like meeting the folks at Food Lion. Some even know me by name.

My brother may call today, and I have some questions for him about Bluetooth. Gizmos he knows all about.

      Have a great day all!

Howie, check with your bank. I had a great surprise today. Social Security paid early.

Peg, I'm sorry about your sister. I hope she can be comfortable in spite of what she's been going through.

BBS is right. There's a thread here about the new MS drug, Ocrevus (ocreluzumab). It Is for RRMS and even PPMS.

It's nice for everyone here that you start a new thread every month. Many thanks!

Agate, you are my hero. I had money in my account, and to the store I went. I forgot it's the weekend, so it was pretty crowded anyway, but I got enough to get me through the weekend. Maybe I'll get my bills ready, and mail them Monday.

            Thanks Agate.

So Monday I go to the hospital for another round of botox to the bladder shots. This has to be done about every 6 months...and April here is 6 months. I love it - the botox really works wells, very few bladder spasms, no incontinence. Spasms started to show up about a week ago, so this round is timely! :) It's a "day surgery": I show up at 8:30, it takes about 1-1/2 hours for preparation (they put you to sleep), they do the shots -- about 20 minutes -- then an hour in "recovery", and then they send you home. So I should be home by lunch. Or maybe I can talk Tom Cat into lunch out. Anyway..... fun day. :)

Feeling energetic today: Baked a pork roast for dinner (noon meal), then a cheesecake, AND a batch of fudge. Loaded up the dishwasher...now wasting time on the computer.

Got my taxes done...owe a bunch of money this year, first time in several years. I had to draw some money out of our savings to pay property tax earlier; I'm sure that's why we now owe for taxes (money drawn out of the retirement fund counts as "income". ) I just LOVE paying money to the military-industrial complex....otherwise known as Uncle Sam....

Peg, thanks for starting us off. Hope your Sister does well in the future. My oldest brother has been in the hospital so many times I have lost count. I guess as we grow older that is how it is with our siblings. I know you are gearing up for the summer farm time. Have fun.

Cat, most of the money I have in savings now is taxable. Also, what I get from dear departed husband's retirement is taxable. So anyway more of my income is taxable than non-taxable because this makes more of my Social Security taxable. I am sure you found that to be true. I try not to complain because compared to many I do have a little something. I just try not to use more of it than I can help.

I wish I could take a new drug that helped me feel better. I am sure their are quite a few on here who feel that way.

Neighbor stopped by today with the book for this month's book club. The title is "Light Between the Oceans". Anyone read it?

Cat, good luck with the botox treatment!

Virginia, I hadn't heard of the book but see that it's about a couple living in a lighthouse who take in a baby who's washed ashore. Sounds interesting--and it seems to be a movie as well?

I wish I felt better after my infusion, like I did when taking Novantrone. It's been 11 years since I had my last infusion of that one.

                            Good Morning everyone.

Another sleepless night. I'm working on my last mug of coffee for the day, and see how it affects my sleep tonight.

I placed my order with Amazon for a 12 cup coffee maker. A red one, basically because I've never seen a red one before. The one I'm surviving on now only makes one and a half mugs at a time. It's getting old, fast!

And I only had a pop tart to eat yesterday, and that's not good. Eating today should put me to sleep. Last night, I even took my sleep meds, and nothing. I'm probably too full of coffee for it to work.

So that's it from Howie's World. Have a great day everyone.
