I am just tired of this

My family is going through a tough time financially right now, and lo and behold, something has come up that needs to be looked at because of ME!!! I have been working on some origami things, and therefore looking at paper up close and making small folds. I have noticed that my vision seems to go out of focus when I am trying to look at things up close. Well, today, my dad comes home and immediately starts complaining about all of the bills that are coming in. Of course, I have an eye appointment tomorrow and I can already tell, that I am going to need new glasses. I can tell that my lazy eye has gotten worse, and that it is shifting more often, when I try to focus on one thing. I know that the only way to fix this is to have surgery, and I do not want to suggest this route at this time. Well, I am back in my room, and I hear my father saying to my mom, "I hope they do not need new glasses, because they won't be able to get them. I just hope some of the checks that I am writing do not bounce." I know that I am not the reason, but I feel as if I am the cause of all of the stress that my family is going through, I just wish some times that I could say a magic word, and everything that is wrong with me would be fixed. I just wanted to come on here and rant.

So, how did your eye exam go? I was wondering if there are any eye exercises that might help you at least for awhile.
I am lucky I have 3 different pairs of glasses now as my vision / focus often changes depending on how my head is doing.
But I am lucky that I have a programmable valve and hope this gets better if I get my setting changed - unless it is just the effects of weather.
Since you were probably straining them while doing the origami, it is a possibility.
Good luck. Sorry to hear about the fnancial stress - not knowing if you can afford new glasses if you need them.

      Thanks for the reply.
When I went in for the exam, everything went well. I found out that my lazy eye just turns in whenever I try to focus in on an object (a camera lens). I also found out that the eye that turns in, with glasses, corrects to 20/20. I am excited about that. I was straining my eyes when I was trying to focus on things up close, with the origami. With my new glasses, it fixes the straining. Thanks once again for the reply.
