I think you were a success, Chris. You job was to love and take care of them and then find them homes. You did that.

    Well done,

Somewhere in here after Boots and her kids I took in another foster. Poor baby has feline leukemia and her sister, Cytrine, they are a bonded pair, tested negative so they had to be separated. I got Diamond until she went to her new forever home, basically a hospice situation with others like her and while we hope that Cytrine is still negative on retesting in Feb. we kind of hope they can be together again. They are both terrified and it was three days before Diamond let me touch her and still she was skittish. She's scared and misses her sister. Supposed to get some feedback today on how she is doing. They were both thrown from a moving car and unfortunately Cytrine lost a foot and got some road rash, Diamond is a big bulky girl she was fine.

Another Calico and her sister is too though more orange. She drooled when you loved on her lol.

Geez been a while, there were a few cats in there, about 12 ferals TNRed and sent back or to friendly barns. Fostered a few for Los Gatos a cat rescue near me and they have been adopted. Sweet Diamond was reunited with her sister. There are homes that take in FIV cats, they can live perfectly normally with the rest of household cats as long as there is no serious fighting and biting and they can live long normal lives.

I rescued a kitty that was trapped with some ferals. someone put him out either because they couldn't rehome him or because he had a very serious eye injury. With help we managed to save the eye and he just might be able to see out of but since we can't ask we can only surmise. There is some discoloration and hazing but we can see in so I hope he sees out. He was another foster failure. I named him Odin after the one eyed mythical god. He is ours now and is a real baby, spoiled rotten and always getting into something. Definitely all boy.

I have also had a feral that I got with a group in January that turned out to be feeder friendly. So I have been rehabbing her and now she is part of the household, Los Gatos is taking care of her and I am getting her adoption ready which is hard because she is still half feral. We are practicing getting picked up and held and loved on. She gives me a little time to hold her now but she is still skittish. She loves us and is constantly rubbing up against us for attention, now we have to get her use to other people, so she will go into Kitty City to get some exposure. Dear Lord please let me have transportation because I can't leave that sweet girl for a month on her own and afraid. I beg God for her adoption because I don't have it in me to give her to a friendly barn and release her back into the wilderness even if she will be taken good care of. That is the agreement, if Kitty City doesn't work out she will go to barn family. Hit me hard yesterday. We cannot keep her, we already have three.

I also have another kitten I am rehabbing, he was trapped with part of my caretaker's colony and I had to take his brother back after getting them vetted because he was too far gone and was very unhappy here so he went back to his colony. That's okay no babies for them or momma who was trapped with them. I have kind of jumped the gun on this current kitten it is basically like having a damn feral living in my house LOL. So I am careful and talk sweetly to him and he plays with the other cats, ignores the dogs and does his thing. At first he was letting me hold him and love on him and that was when he was caged, then he would meow to get out and I got so tired of it I figured he was good enough to let out. First couple days he came out for lovins and food now he won't come eat from me so I don't know what to do. So I am waiting on him. He stopped hiding so much and is more out in the open so hopefully things will go okay.

Well I still have both the rehabbing ferals. Georgie, he has been dubbed, is a cute little stinker and Jared is in love. He is no longer terribly feral like and he eats with the crowd, often will let me pet him and let me pick him up but he does not like that. He is young, he will get over it. Especially if he goes to a home with children, no littles mind you ages 7 and up. Louise is wonderful and it will break my heart to let her go. I pray she gets a home.

Miss Louise, short stocky like a little fullback. She kisses and nibbles and paws and scratches for attention. Does

not like to be picked up and needs more socialization.

Little Georgie rescued from my feral colony, is a bit skittish but is a lover.

Sweet Sadie rescued from a restaurant parking lot she had been hanging around in. Underweight, anemic from the fleas and born with no teeth. She is pretty sick right now but is on antibiotices and flea meds. She only weighs a tad over 3 pounds.

These next three are actually ours and then the two dogs.

Belladonna who was our first. Rescued off of craigslist from a lady who was trying to give away 6 wk old kittens.

Chunk my first foster fail and our big boy.

This is our Odin. His eye is healing more and more and he can now see out of it. He is spoiled.

Skyler our forever foster, he's my little Eeyore.

My sweet Dash, my precious. He is very protective of his mama. We adore each other lol.

So it is like a small animal haven around here. Most of the living spaces are catified except the kitchen then that is cat proofed lol.
