    First Day of Spring!!

It's Spring! March 20 is the first day of Spring. Such good news. Here it's 33* right now, just after 5 AM, but it's supposed to warm up today. I hope it's warm and lovely where you are.

I hope the temperature warmed up for you today. We were blessed with a light rain during the night, but today the sun is shining and we have strong winds. Nature competes against itself.

Praying that this Spring will bring good things!

    Love & Light,

    ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Not so warm or bright here yet but the flowering trees are coming out. I get to see two pink-flowering trees and one white one from my windows and it really beats many views from past locations.

Temp is in the 50s but it's pouring rain - and power was out for an hour or so. And the weather people on TV keep warning us about how bad the storms will be Wednesday.

We had snow yesterday and some of it is still around this morning, with more in the forecast for the next 3 days. I'm hoping that the forecast is wrong.

Today's predicted snow hasn't shown up yet. In fact there's even a bit of SUN.

So much depends on the weather. Whether I get groceries, for instance, or whether the van will show up to take me to an eye doctor appointment.

Is your current weather typical of weather at this time of the year, or is it different? I do hope it clears up soon for both of you.

Yesterday, we had a day of strong winds, gusting up to 40 mph. I just laughed. Last week, I asked them to clean up the debris in the backyard from the last windy day. Yesterday, I heard them using their leaf blower in the neighbors' yard, and that made no sense to me at all. The gusts were constant, defeating the purpose of the leaf blower!

I started watching a wonderful documentary series on Netflix, "Our Great National Parks." It is narrated by President Obama, and he is incredibly articulate and soothing as he describes life in these Parks around the world. Because these Parks have been preserved, they are rebuilding our ecosystem. It gives me hope that the planet can be saved. The cinematography is exquisite.

                Stay safe wherever you are.

                ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for letting people know about the National Parks documentary, Rose. I'm going to look it up as it sounds as if it will be like visiting the National Parks without having to travel there.

The snow we've had on a couple of days recently is unusual for this area but not unheard of. Depending on what Website you look at, the last frost date of the winter for this area is between April 15 and 27. The couple of days with snow were followed by an evening when hail kept falling (and staying on the ground) for a couple of hours, in very large pellets. The plants outside seem to have survived the snow and hail,

Today it's lovely outside -- chilly but lovely. Tomorrow we're having dinner after church, a cold and rainy day, but we will have a nice time. I'm making "baked" beans, cole slaw , potato salad and delived eggs.
