February Weather

We had ANOTHER winter storm that brought us to a halt. Oh, I hate winter. But it's over now, 38*! Isn't it funny when 38 sounds like a good temperature?? And the streets were cleaned enough that I could get out and make a very much needed trip to the store.

Tomorrow we're having another dinner after church -- this time with a Mexican theme. So tonight I'm stirring up my first attempt at a Mexican crock-pot recipe. My broccoli salad and peanut candy are all prepared, packed in the fridge and ready to go. It's so nice that I like to cook!
I took dishes of the salad to my neighbor and to my sister. They both love that salad too.

jingle, I love Mexican food. Give me a corn tortilla all by itself and I'm happy. Or a flour tortilla. Add guacamole and I'm going to think I'm in heaven. I hope your event went well in spite of the weather.
