We are what we eat or what we eat is us.

I'm not clicking with the logic of their conclusion and
must read again and think about it,

I just want them to hurry up and tell us what to eat - weather it's good food or bad I'll try it.

Yes, I wish there was a magic diet for us all....*sigh* I do believe that some foods can be a trigger for illness for some but not for all and not universaly.

I personally think we are here for the benefit of bacterias and not the other way round. I think they are harvesting us - in a very clever way ... scary

    from the article:

“Changing eating habits could explain, for example, why the incidence of multiple sclerosis has increased in Asian countries in recent years,” explains Hartmut Wekerle.

what would that be? the western diet perhaps? maybe there is something to the leaky gut theory.

I have no opinion on the leaky gut theory but I have heard that Asian countries are experiencing fast-food restaurants like McDonald's in a big way recently.
