    Default Gut Wrenching Photo Series

This is mother love. In this case, it's cancer that's the enemy, but it could just as easily be one of our kids.

Just sobbing... Losing all hope has to be gut wrenching. It certainly makes me, and hopefully many parents feel lucky and appreciate every day with their child.

Those of us who have children who have experience uncontrolled pain and endless painful procedures will recognize the fury, fear, stoicism of the mother, pleading, panic, desperation... it brought me back to my own awful memories and made me put my hands over my face. This poor sweet boy and his dear mother.

OMG, those are some powerful photos! It didn't say who took them? I was totally crying by the end. My favorite though is the one where he gets to drive...love the joyful smile on his face in that one.
