Whatever your need is, may God give you strength, relief, peace, and comfort and guide you toward the path of healing and wholeness.

    Amen.

    Love & Light,

Thank You to all - I am both disabled and caregiver to my S/O, who is the light of my life as well as the LOVE of my life. I am struggling with burn-out as well as a mess of other stuff. Blessings to all and thank you. I have some significant personal problems I hope to overcome, I pray I am strong enough, both for her sake as well as mine. I am a survivor and one way or another I will make it. Thank all of you and I hope each and every one of you is doing well.
    Blessings

Alex, I send out prayers to you. Remember that when you look and see only one set of footprints you aren't alone as those are the times God is caring you in his arms. One of the unfortunate things with CP is it creates so many things issues that pile on us at a time we are least able to deal with issues. 1. CP makes us irritable at the time we need others in our life. 2. CP makes it difficult to work so we are on reduced hours or disability either results in tight finances. 3. CP makes us uncomfortable so we don't get quality sleep which causes more irritability. 4. Meds we take to control the pain adds to our irritability which further alienates those around us etc, etc, etc.

Alex don't get down on yourself and remember you need to have some space for yourself now and then to set the burden off your shoulders even if it is just for a short time. Our lives are a balancing act as we struggle to get up and do what needs to be done and it doesn't take much to push us over the edge now and then. I wish you the best and pray you feel God's love as you struggle with the issues in your life.

    (((Alex)))

All of your friends here are here for you if you need us.
Question: Why can't I post links or pictures?
Question: Why can't I have a signature, avatar, or profile picture?
Question: What's wrong with my account?

Answer: You are in the "registered users" user group. This group is very limited in what it can do. This will annoy spammers to no end Just keep posting once you have been registered for 30 days and have made 11 posts your account will be "unlocked".

It's really easy to put someone on ignore and it's strongly recommended that you do so with people who's posts you don't like.

    Step 1 - log in
Step 2 - click on the "settings" link
Step 3 - click on the "edit ignore list" link on the left side of the screen
Step 4 - type (or paste if you copied and pasted it) the username of the person you want to ignore
Step 5 - click the "ok" button on the right of the screen

Easy peasy and will lower your blood pressure. One important note though, this won't hide quoted posts. It's an oversight on the developers part and it's not an easy thing to "fix." So if someone quotes someone you have ignored, you'll see the quote.

Alternatively when you click on a person's name and view their profile page, underneath their avatar, there is a option that says, "Ignore this person". Click that link and then click the yes button.
