    Default nutmeg substitude

I found a ricipe for "Pumpkin Nutmeg Knots". It calls for a tsp. of nutmeg. I don't have any. But can I just substitude it with pupmkin pie spice? Thanks. I might as well try, I know there is nutmeg in p.p.spice. I'll send you some if you want.

It called for a can of pumpkin so I was thinking they would be 'pumpkiny' but they also called for lots of flour, so they tasted like dinner rolls. (Now we have more dinner rolls than we want.) I'm thinking of trying again with more pumkin & a little less flour...& adding cinnamon, cloves & nutmeg??????
