Jan, these are the hard times. I wondered later on which stage was the worse stage. I finally decided they were All worse. It is so hard to watch our LOs loose every thing they have ever known.

julia is so right.
sometimes when my mom was in this stage, i would get angry at her. it was hard to watch her lose her mental faculties. i had to keep telling myself it was the disease and that really wasn't my mom anymore.
you and hank are always in my prayers.

By reading all of your stories of dealing with a loved one's ALZ, I didn't have to realize that on my own. I have learned so much here. THANKS! I am having lunch with Hank at the "Adult Care Facility" this noon. Hank was admitted Feb. 13th, last year, yup he's been there a year.......
