OT: Tornado Hit

Hi Folks,
It's been one wicked day here today. A tornado hit just a few miles south of my home in Elmira,NY houses, were destroyed and damaged, the roof was taken off the mall and trees are down every where. Elmira is now a state of emergency
since the tornado hit today (Thursday) at 3:58 pm. I lost the phone and internet after lightening hit the pedistal outside my home early this morning. Please pray for everyone in Elmira,NY I greatly appreciate it. Wishing All of You Well

I'm glad you are safe Sue. Storms have been really volatile this year with the excessive heat and drought too. Read an article yesterday about climate change, and it surely makes me think. Tattoo

Hi Tattoo,
Things are a lot worse today than we thought it would be after the tornado. schools were damaged and shut down along with many homes damaged or destroyed. I will be headed to Elmira this weekend.

Hi Linnie,
It sure is a mess in Elmira I can't believe all the roofs torn off of homes as well as part of a roof torn off a mall. There is a lot of debry to clean up also as I'm sure you know. I have to find a way to try and cheer all these families up
