I don't have a proof for this but years ago I heard that Valium comes from this herb.

Herbs were around long before AMA.

Once upon a time.....I lived out in the country when my boys were babies and we had a wild black cherry tree in the backyard. Those cherries made the best black cherry jam.....I would love to find another tree growing out in the country so I could make jam again. I have 3 gallons of muscadine grapes in the freezer that my grandson picked last fall from vines I planted a few years ago which I plan to make into either jam or jelly.

I found a recipe for muscadine wine but I need at least 5 gallons of grapes to make it. Muscadine wine has some good medicinal benefits to it. Article entitled "Immune Benefits of consumming Red Muscadine Wine"
