Default For the daredevil in all of you, look at what I did!

yep, jumped out of a plane from 14,000ft!

    don't believe me? video proof!

spent a week in Western Australia visiting a close friend, James, whom you will see briefly in the video. He has CP too but more severely than me and wanted to do it, but since his spine is fused, couldn't get medical clearance. skydiving people were lovely. had never taken a person with a disability before but they were excited to take on the challenge, like it was something to cross off their own bucketlist!

best week of my life by far!!

anyway, just something different for you all to watch! I want to do it again!

in other news, I moved apartments over the weekend and unlike the other one I was in where it was catered, this one is self catered. I cooked my first meal from scratch independently today! ground beef, rice and veges. boring but not bad!

    life is exciting indeed. :)

    WOW!!!!!

    Good for you!!!!

That must have been thrilling and exhilarating! I loved your landing too ~ how wonderfully gently he placed you on the ground.

I'm anxious to watch your video with the sound on (Jon & Jim are sleeping, so I have sound off now).

I could never ever skydive, as I have a fear of heights. My hands are sweating just watching your video! I think you are awesome to have the courage to do it.

More new things for you with moving and cooking. You're really cracking on with your independence! You can jazz up your food a little with sauteed onions and garlic (works with just about everything), a little fresh squeezed lemon, and a few herbs like parsley, basil, and oregano. You'll get the hang of cooking in no time, I'm sure.

    Congratulations!

    Love & Light,

    Rose

Cool! Skydriver in the house! Looks like fun! I'd be to scared to try it myself though. I have issues with heights. :P LOL!

You are a maniac, Erin!!! I already posted on facebook, but I agree with Rose, I am afraid of heights too, so this whole thing made me feel woozy. Good on ya though, as they say down under (I think), congratulations!

What did it feel like? What was it like for you? What was the best part? Were you ever nervous or frightened at all?

I did watch the video, with Jim, with sound, but I couldn't quite hear the conversation for the music.

I would love to know what the experience was like for you. Could you describe it?

    Still applauding you!
