    Hi Phyllis,
I have family that works for HUD and each state is different. I know in NY you can only make so much money each month, and if you make to much you can't get the help. If I can get more info for you I will let you know.
Here's wishing you only the best and May God Bless You!

    Sue

First find your closest HUD office then call and see if applications are being accepted at this time. You may have to stay on top of this because sometimes they will open up for new applicants for only a few hours or days at a time. You miss them and you have to keep calling. Once you get an app in it may take a few months because you are put on a waiting list so get to calling NOW.

Waltham is a relatively large city so there is probably an office in town.

Yeah, Sue, I can only make so, much, before, they start screwing around with my
SSI, too. But, with my Depressin and anxiety, I really can't work, anyhow, so, I'm safe!;)

Thanks, Pati!!:) Unfortunately, nothing will improve for me, until, I can get the hell,
away from my mother. Which, I could've, done years ago, had, I not listened to her
about, my, not being able to live independently. Now, waiting-lists are years, long, so,
sadly, I don't see anything, happening within, my life-time.:(

my, not being able to live on, my, own.

Yea, but it seems your mother has issues that spill out all over you from our PMs.

The waiting list for me was only a couple months.

Go ahead and contact the HUD office. They MAY help you find another place and even help with the moving expenses.

If you do this 6 months from now your whole life may change for the better. If you do nothing about this nothing is going to change for you.

If you tell her you WILL move she may change her tune if she wants you close by.
