Can we ask for particular smileys or graphics to be added to our little collection? Are there any guidelines I need to watch out for?

There's something I'm always looking for and think would be there but can never find. How about Brain Fog? Plus more options for PAIN would be super. I saw a blog somewhere else where the author used all smiles for the imaginary ER 1-5 pain scale and then made up her own of 1-11 that was much more realistic as well as hysterical. Right this minute I'm at "weasels ripped my flesh" for anyone who remembers Frank Zappa.Sher
My Life Menu: CFS probably since birth, full flavored since the 80s, with Fibromyalgia, Major Depression with a side order of Anxiety and Agoraphobia sauce, Restless Leg Syndrome with spicy Other Sleep Disorders, 11 Eye Surgeries, a generous helping of Gut Problems

Originally posted by BarqueI have found that usually one or two mods on a site do the smilies. Find the right person{s} and set up a dialog with him or her so you can just send the smilies directly to them in a PM.Question: Why can't I post links or pictures?
Question: Why can't I have a signature, avatar, or profile picture?
Question: What's wrong with my account?
Answer: You are in the "registered users" user group. This group is very limited in what it can do. This will annoy spammers to no end Just keep posting once you have been registered for 30 days and have made 11 posts your account will be "unlocked".
It's really easy to put someone on ignore and it's strongly recommended that you do so with people who's posts you don't like.
Step 1 - log in
Step 2 - click on the "settings" link
Step 3 - click on the "edit ignore list" link on the left side of the screen
Step 4 - type (or paste if you copied and pasted it) the username of the person you want to ignore
Step 5 - click the "ok" button on the right of the screen
Easy peasy and will lower your blood pressure. One important note though, this won't hide quoted posts. It's an oversight on the developers part and it's not an easy thing to "fix." So if someone quotes someone you have ignored, you'll see the quote.
Alternatively when you click on a person's name and view their profile page, underneath their avatar, there is a option that says, "Ignore this person". Click that link and then click the yes button.

Funniest PAIN SCALE!
Only registered and activated users can see links., Click Here To Register...
OK, folks, put on your Depends because this is asolutely the most hysterical Pain Scale EVER. Your endorphins should be roiling by the time you finish. Might need Kleenex too because I couldn't stop the tears of laughter.
Which reminds me -- which is the actual SMILE smiley? The one I see on the sidebar has red cheeks for some reason...
Do we have a sun and a moon? All phases of weather? A palette of emotions to choose from one extreme to the other? Jeez, I don't want much do I?
Thanks again, Mikie. You're our Board Angel!Sher

Phyllis girl I can't believe you said that! I am so on it!
Pati you do know that under More is all of our old original smilies (See what all that flippin English Composition got me? A serious aversion to putting an S after a Y and it drives me nuts) . Jeff gave me an awesome link for smileys :ambivalence: so I will search the archives for it when I get a chance.

Okay Mike now you have to tell me how to get them to you. I may have gotten a bit overzealous because I found many so you let me know and of course I got all free and I believe they all will get used. Some are a bit more than just smileys, small gifs and a few odd ones. Some of them were with the old forums and I may have doubled one or two. So use your magic wand and see what you can do. I will figure something out I just have to kick my brain into gear lol. Ugh
