    Default Hair Coloring and Seizures

    Hi Folks,

I've heard rumor that hair coloring can trigger sz. I've never done this before but I'm thinking about it because I'm starting to get a little gray hair. Have any of you tried coloring your
hair or heard any info. about it triggering sz.? I would appreciate any info. if you know anything or have tried coloring your hair and if it did or didn't trigger sz. for you. Thanks for your time
and help. May God Bless You!

I dyed my hair once. At the time , my seizures did not increase. Having said this, it wouldn't surprise me if other people would be different.

Don't know how it could (then again, I'm not a doctor.)

The only living tissue in hair is the follicle.

    What is left?
Chemicals absorbed through the scalp maybe?

Once you rinse, what else could effect your nervous system?

    Hi Folks,
Thanks for your help I appreciate it. I spoke with my pharmarcist and he told me that it depended on the brand of hair coloring I got and the type of chemicals that it had in it that could possibly trigger sz. I've read
other posts on line where people have had the same questions and concerns as I have. Thanks for your help and time. May God Bless You!
