    Hi Phylllis,

Thanks you for your kind words. I started writing poems and short stories yrs. ago and I have learned to forgive everyone that has hurt me over the yrs. I look at it this way:

    I AM I
Do not condem me, forsake me, or put me down,
Total I will never be. I have my faults, I have my guilts.
But I like being what I am and that ME.

I wrote this back when I was in high school in the late 1970's . When my family had a hard time accepting my epilepsy and I went to boarding school.
Here's wishing You Well and May God Bless You!

    Default My Friend

    Hi Phyllis,
    Here's another poem:

    My Friend

My Friend I hate to do it
But our friendship just can't last
    The times we've shared together
    Have faded to the past.

I told it it would happen
Our friendship was bound to end,
    Although I know you care
    I don't consider you a friend.

    Please don't try to argue
    But try to understand
That time can change two people,
As the tide changes the sand.

Yes our friendship has been lovely
But you see it had to end.
For I look at you in a different way
I've fallen in love with you...
    My Friend.

I wrote this back in the late 1970's when I was in 10th grade for my first high school sweetheart. He thought I was upset
with him until he read the entire poem.

Wishing You Well and May God Bless You,

    Sue

    Hi cloudz,

I'm sorry to hear that your holidays weren't that good. Take my word there are others out there in the world who have it a lot harder.
My Uncle used to go over to Kenya in Africa yrs. ago and help the people over there. When I heard some of his stories it made me realize
how lucky I am to have everything I have and to have all the wonderful friends like you and everyone else here at brain talk.
Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!

    Sue
