    According to the Audubon Society, this ocellated turkey is the only other type of turkey there is. Unlike our wild turkey, it is seen only in parts of Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala.

    Seems these birds have to be on the lookout for jaguars.

    Somehow there's always a cat of some kind hovering around endangering critters.... (Don't take it personally, Sam. I know you read these posts.)

    Thank you for sharing this photo. The feathers on this bird are absolutely stunning! (And probably in high demand by hunters?) Isn't Nature incredible?

    I like this bird better than peacocks. Peacocks always look as if they're about to topple over with the weight of those tails when they're fanning them out. T
