:) I can't take the pain anymore so I called the doctor. They could only prescribe Tramadol unless I wanted to come get a paper RX.

I called Andy to see if he could pick it up. He said Mom I have Tramadol and Gabapentin if you want them. He came over and put ointment on me and brought me two bottles. I took one of each but so far the pain is only lessened not gone.

My stomach looks like raw meat and Andy says my back is the same. I am praying this will go away quickly. I made silver water and drank that hoping it will help. Jeanie :)

It's 96 degrees here right now. That's just too hot to do anything! So Sam and I are staying in, with the AC on. Whew! Sam, we're having ice cream later today!!!

Jeanie, I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with shingles and hope that things will get better soon. I remember how miserable I felt the two times I've had shingles.

jendie, a person can get shingles a second time?

I hope you can find something for the pain, Jeanie. I looked up shingles remedies but you've probably tried them all: cool washcloths, oatmeal baths, calamine lotion.

I wonder if cooled teabags would work on blisters? I recall that being a remedy for sunburn blisters.

I did, almost 6 months after the original case cleared up. I thought ,since I had it before I wouldn't come down with it again, kind of like with Chicken Pox but not for me.

Shingles is the reactivation of the same virus that causes Chicken Pox. I know I suffered greatly when I had Chicken Pox, so I feel for you and hope you can get some relief soon.

My prayers are with you that the Tramadol and Gabapentin become more effective for you. I'm so sorry you're in so much misery.

It's 95 out, but I got a bill yesterday that I had to get in the mail so it would go out tomorrow. So I got it ready, wrote a check, and drove out to the mailbox. That should be all the bills paid. Hopefully, I won't have to go out anymore this month.

Everyone have a great day, and stay cool!
