    Agate, I have a small milking stool. That might work, but to stand even on that I have to be holding on to something. Balance is poor!

    You hang onto the vehicle door frame while you hoist yourself up onto the stepstool. It pays to grope around on the door frame for anything like a handle. There often is one.

    I've had a little plastic stepstool for many years. Mine is just like this:

    That looks like it is a little bit higher than my milking stool, so I guess I better not try it. It is prettier than my milking stool.
