Thumbs up Mystery Diagnosis episode on Stiff Person Syndrome

In case I or anyone else here didn't post this yet https://www.youtube.com/embed/SFMEnRFx4X0 This episode covers Stiff Person Syndrome and the possible comorbidity of Type 1 diabetes and Stiff Person Syndrome. My personal theory is that the immune system is already hyper active so it attacks the Insulin cells in this woman first and then her nervous system. Hope this helps. I wanted to post it after I saw the rerun today on TV.

    Oh Thanks FunnyLegs!

Type I diabetes often co occurs, emerging later in life than usual, in SPS patients. Luckily, not for me so far...but SPS occurs with many other autoimmune problems such as Hashimoto’s thyroid (Such as mine) etc...

Science really has to do more research on the immune system.
