Jeanie, that is wonderful. Just to get started and do whatever you can is a motivator. If you keep at it you will see a difference.

I washed two loads of linens, and dusted today. Maid came. Sometime in next couple of days I will work up the energy to vacuum.

A person does have to work up the energy for some jobs. I was going to change the bed linens and flip the mattress on Sunday but didn't feel up to it. All day yesterday I put it off but by evening I'd reached the point where I felt up to it.

It's the kind of effort my back dislikes, and my back went out on me a few days ago. It goes out again from time to time, but if I'm very careful about lifting and reaching as little as possible, I can keep it from yelping at me.

I'm proud to say that I did the bed linens AND the mattress flipping yesterday without any big back problems. It's the mattress flipping that is hard but I do this every couple of months. I'm able to flip it without lifting it but it's still a project.

:)After having to have the paramedics to get me off the floor, I have decided I need to build up my muscles. I am doing three squats every time I go to the bathroom and using my two pound dumbbells. I could not believe how weak my arms were trying to get up. These are bound to help and it motivated me to do it. Jeanie :)
Thatís fantastic Jeanie! The weight lifting is done every other day, not every day. Itís important to take that day off. The lifting stresses the muscle. The next day the body repairs it. Itís what increases the muscle strength!
