Well, so much for Sam's influence on the weather. For a while I thought she was ordering up special climates for you and her.

    Cool

She was, but I'm down to half a slice of turkey, so she ordered more hot weather. She wins, tomorrow is payday, and I'll get TWO packs of sliced turkey!

Hang in there, Sam--better days are ahead!

I have some reading here to catch up on. The first of the month tends to be busy, and just now my back has been acting up because I overdid on a filing task I tackled. So everything has slowed down around here.

I hope to be able to catch up soon.

IVIG all day today. For 8 hours...bring books and iPod and ear phones to block out noise. And hope no spasms....

    Cool

I didn't sleep last night which often happens the night before payday. But I'm back, got everything done, and I'll sleep in just a bit. I'm feeling tired now. Have a great day everyone!

Rituxan infusion went well yesterday but quarterly labs were drawn and my electrolytes were totally out of whack so I got oral and IV potassium while there and have to go back in the morning tomorrow for another level check and wait to see if I need another IV. Fasting blood sugar was at 187 (top normal is 106) and my A1C had gone up to 7.5. There is also protein in my urine and my white count is elevated rather than suppressed . (should be on the low side with Rituxan). Something's going on. Feels like infection but no clue as to where. My docs are aware and putting their heads together today.

We had the most lovely thunderstorm last night around 10-11 PM! Haven't had a really good one this year till now.

Cherie, too much is going on. I hope they get to the bottom of it real soon and are able to give you some piece of mind about what it is and also to correct whatever it is.

Howie, I am mad with Sam for bringing us this weather. It is probably 90 degrees here today, maybe a little higher. Glad you went out early and are now resting.

I'm awake now. Made coleslaw, and have fed Sam her sliced turkey....for the SECOND time since I got back from the store! I'll talk to her about easing up on the weather!

You're so nice to her with the sliced turkey that that weather change should be automatic and immediate but that's just my opinion.
