The AARP has posted a 10-question quiz to test your bargain knowledge--"Try the summer savings quiz":

Hmm, this has had quite a few page views but nobody has said anything. ...

I got only 60% on this quiz, just FYI.

I don't take Facebook quizzes but occasionally do quizzes from other sources. I thought this one had some good information attached to the answers but maybe others don't take quizzes either or just don't have any comment to make.

60% for me too! If I could still travel, I'd definitely pop 10 bucks for that lifetime pass to the national parks. That's a bargain!

I have an access pass to the National Parks that includes free parking at the National Seashore. I just filled out a brief form at the park office as a disabled person. No questions asked. The website says they need proof but they did not even want to see any documents. It was free and it saves $20-$25 dollars each day of vacation.

    Thumbs up

PROVING I'm disabled might be tough for me. I do carry a card for a brain donation to the Rocky Mountain MS Center. That would have to do.

In the beginning of the TSA screenings, my neuro wrote me a note saying I was her patient, have multiple sclerosis and take injectible meds that needed to be in my carry-on. I had that letter and my social security disability card and my disability MBTA (bus and subway) card.

How do you get the SS Disability card?

Never mind. As with everything, it can be found online. The search engine is my friend.
