Here in western MA it is in the low 70’s! Incredible. Super muddy here on my farm but incredible weather! I want to go out and plant something...

Here too,Linda. Just beware of the sudden spike in temp and tomorrow's drop back down. Both affect MS.

I got so much done on the two 8 hour days each month that I got IVIg. I wrote a lot of my mediocre but much loved poetry. (I loved it).

I donít seem to ever get as much done during the 6 hour rituxan days. Not sure why.

Anyway, I am happy your day went well.

Dave turned 65 last year. Yes, that is young. Especially when neither parent had problems with memory. He is aware and is concerned. It is showing itself a lot in the games we play each morning and evening at the dining table. Backgammon in the morning and Progressive Rummy or Scotch Bridge in the evening. He is off on counting spaces every day now and keeps getting mixed up on what he is collecting with cards and has to be reminded throughout the game that he is looking for two runs or three sets. Tonight he came out 5 times with the wrong cards even though it was part of the conversation throughout.

I made some progress putting together figures for taxes today. Still have a support group program to put together for Tuesday on finding resources when you need them. Then I need to get my slides and talk in order for the National Webinar on Patient Centered Care on March 6 that the MS Foundation is sponsoring. THEN I need to put together another program for March MS Awareness and Education month for Chicago area on March 29th. It is OK to be this busy but the ducks are not all in a row and that makes me a bit nervous this close to presentations. I have added the schedule of Webinars for next month if anyone is interested.Postcard digital NMSEAM.jpg

Cherie, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you will soon have to cancel all the activities you are involved in, and Dave will become the only activity you will be involved in. I saw my mom fall apart from Alzheimer's, and it's a hard thing to watch. But the only thing you can do is watch. There is no treatment. I'll be with you in spirit.

I know that is a possibility but we need to rule out treatable causes first and our Primary care doc is proactive and sharp and looks for answers if he doesn't know them.

Yes, Cherie I agree all other causes must be ruled out. The ramifications of early dementia is too great not to do it.
