    My med supply store rep told me that with the wheels etc, the titanium only weight @3lbs less.

    Medicare won’t pay for titanium. I was willing to pay out of pocket, ouch, for the ability to be able to hoist it in and out of car. But it sounds like it would still be pretty heavy.

    I learned my lesson with lifting wc at store a few weeks ago, still having back problems, although improving a lot.
