    Thank you for finding and posting this, Sally. It seems like a really clear discussion of the stem cell situation, particularly Dr. Burks's final cautionary comment about those patients who got involved in "medical tourism"--getting stem cell treatments by going to questionable providers.

    NYU also reported excellent results with no side effects. I always liked Manhattan....

    Are stem cell treatments meant just for the young? Maybe now in the early stage that's who's getting them but I had the impression that they would work for any age.

    Some people might balk at going through the procedure though.

    Depends on what is involved for me. However, what I was referring to is the fact that they said it is a ways off. I probably will not be around.
