thought I would stop by and wish everybody good health and happiness in the new year. Sue, I hope you are doing well...... and dear Rose, I think of you often. I stop in and read your post a lot, but health just doesn't allow me to sit for a long period. I do so admire you and your hubby...... Once you mentioned your husband was a step-father and I was a little surprised, but then I shouldn't be surprised at all. You would never know Ken wasn't their bio. father. They all love him dearly.. The 1/2 is due in June and its a boy this time. He will be our first great-grandson. The others are girls.

I hope and pray your Jonathan is doing as well as possible. I tell ken about all the things that go on with you all and I can see the heart-ache for all of you, but also I see the love he see's.

To all others I pray and send good thought's to all of you. You all are special people. My love, Julia
Did you ever know that you're my hero and every thing I would like to be I can fly higher than an eagle
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings

    Hi Rose,
It's great to hear from you again it's been so long. I'm still doing pretty good and for the first time in 15 yrs. I had less than 100 sz. this past yr. (2014) I know it sounds like a lot but
when I was having over 200 sz. a yr. take my word this was a wonderful yr.
May God Bless You & May You have a sz. free life.

    Sue

Happy New Year! It is always wonderful to see you posting! A great grandson on the way! How exciting!

You're correct that Jim isn't the bio father of Jonathan and Michael. You're also so right about that being unnoticeable. For his first Father's Day, the boys gave Jim a pillow, which reads: "Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a Dad." You, Ken, and your children all know the veracity of that statement.

With the heartache, there is tremendous joy in our lives, and we celebrate each day we share together. We laugh, we sing, we dance, we hug and kiss and say "I love you" countless times a day and night. Since love is boundless, we don't feel confined.

Thank you for your prayers, and know that they are returned for you ~ for your strength and healing. Many blessings to you and Ken and your family this year, dear Julia ~

HOW WONDERFUL SUE! The significant reduction in your seizures is just fabulous! To what do you attribute this reduction? I could not be happier for you! And I DO KNOW how huge this is for you, as Michael had intractable seizures and seized many times every day. May this continue for you, dear Sue! Wow! YAY for Sue!

Happy HEALTHY New Year to you! God Bless You!

    Hi Rose,
Thank you for your kind words. I've been taking vimpat for 3 yrs. and I know that has helped but I think what really reduced my sz. was a different method a friend told me about and
that is putting coconut oil that has 100% virgin oil in it on my skin every now and then. The coconut oil helps build up keytones in a persons sytem which in turn reduces sz. I know it
sounds crazy but it has worked great for me.

Wishing you only the best and May God Bless You,

    Sue
