survived Thanksgiving. Me, Jared, Brandon and my brother Damon who always comes on the holidays. Got everything I needed for a thanksgiving dinner from a local food bank and had to spend very little on extras. I did make that apple galette that Jared bugged me about and it turned out wonderfully. I learned that you can keep apples turning color during baking process by substituting honey for the lemon juice. I forgot the lemon juice when shopping but had honey. Turned out lovely. So I have heard as I have not tried it yet. I opted for the chocolate silk pie with dark cookie crust. One of my favorites. My brother brought dessert so he came bearing three pies and his favorite vanilla ice cream.

I have most of my Christmas shopping done. I only buy for my boys and three or four other people get small gifts. It is so much less stressful when you don't have a bunch of family and their children to buy for. I would have to close Christmas down here.

My new MMJ caregiver and co. are working out wonderfully, I get what I asked for no fuss no muss, my texts always get answered and she will deliver if I cannot get to her. Took long enough to find someone. A couple years before things got ironed out. MMJ is now recreational here though they say nothing official until after the holiday due to the timing. So Dec. 2. We'll see how it goes.

Trying to decide if I want to start with the dreaded christmas decor. Not much to put outdoors but I have tons of indoor decor. Too much actually.

Im done.
