I had a double fusion lumbar, l4-5 s1 idk i'm still notsure on the particulars, will find out more thurs when i go back to this mechanic oh i mean doctor oops . Pretty bad experience I tell ya . If I didd't have to go to bed right now I'd get into the details but just let me say that this fusion is at least double the pain compared to the laminectomy . hope i can tell more later but for now it's nighty night and oxy take meawayyyy!!!

I hope that this message finds you as pain free as possible and feeling well. The first days of recovery are not easy. I am sorry to hear that your experience was not good. Well, you are home now and I hope everything is looking better for you. Take care of yourself and you have my thoughts and prayers for less pain and a speedy recovery.

Uh oh, bad experience, huh? Sorry to hear that, but glad you're finally home. Let us know the gory details when you can, Doug. Sounds like the surgery might have been a little complicated to keep you 6 days. They usually treat ya and street ya!

Take care and feel better soon!

6 days? WOW, sounds very intense and painful, rest, we will all be here when you are able to sit more than 1 min.

Blessings

Kathy

WOW, you must have had complications? I recently had those levels done via laminectomy and partial discectomy. I'm now looking at the fusion you just went through because I got injured before it was all healed up.

When you feel better, let us know the details o.k.?

Hope your feeling better soon.

Doug welcome back home. Sorry you had such a bad time following the surgery. I remember those painful days following my 360 lumbar fusion and I feel for you. I hope you are able to rest tonight.

Fusions are very painful. I've been fused from L/2 thru S/1, not all in one surgery tho. My first one was the worse. I learn one thing quick. The sooner I got up, the better I healed. My Dr made me stay 5 days each time. Be sure to let us know later about it. It can take up to one year healing. Good luck.

Doug,

Sorry you did not have a pleasant experience at the hospital, but many of us have been there done that...My last experience lasted ten days..almost eleven...Hope you are up and feeling well soon! Go slow and rest and rest...When you feel better it is good to start to walk....a little at a time and build up each day...Hang in there...It does get better...

Hey Doug, hope that stuff makes you feel "GOOOOOD" - and hope you sleep well. Get back to us fairly soon with details now ok? Sorry you didn't have a good experience, but hopefully the outcome will be worth it and you are pain free after you heal
