Question people with Down Syndrome don't know when to stop eating?????

I notice no one posts here but I thought I'd take a chance and ask my question anyway. My friend was telling me about her uncle yesterday who has both Down Syndrome and Autism and she said he doesn't know when he is full. He doesn't have the signal in his brain that tells him he's had enough to eat. Is this a symptom of Down Syndrome????

Are you familiar with Prader-Willi Syndrome?

no, it is NOT a symptom of Down's Syndrome, but it is a symptom of yet another problem - Prader-Willi syndrome. It is possible for a person to have several genetic & epigentic problems at once.
