Man I can relate! We're actually in the hospital right now.

Question - anyone ever heard of a disease that presents as celiac but is not celiac?

You mean gluten sensitivity? What's going on in the hospital? Is your baby having the same "some kinda virus" troubles my completely dehydrated baby had?

Ditto! Gluten sensitivity can cause everything celiac disease does, except for the villous atrophy. Negative blood tests and negative biopsy results for celiac disease does not completely rule out gluten as the problem.

Check out the Diagnostics and Gluten Sensitivity vs. Celiac Disease pages of The Gluten File linked in my signature.

If the symptoms are there, but the testing is negative... it is time for a dietary trial of at least 3-6 months. Consider removing cow's milk, too.
