Default DID diagnosed two years ago

Diagnosed two years ago after many years and many diagnoses. I have been seeing a psychiatrist for about three years this time around. She referred me to a psychologist who diagnosed DID. I have spent the last year and a half trying to get my head around this latest diagnoses. I find it very difficult to talk about how it effects me. I thought writing about it might help. But I see there aren’t many people in this particular part of the forum.
