Default I just have to share...

My excitement with everyone! I found out today that my son's wheelchair was finally approved by the insurance company! It was submitted back in August and we are lucky (so we've been told) to have an approval already. Now if we can just get the service date to be in '06, that would be great. We have met our out-of-pocket max. and if we can get the service date to be in '06, we won't have to pay for the chair, it will be all on the insurance.

I have a call in to find out if the order date or the receiving date is considered the service date for insurance purposes. This is going to be tricky because his PT goes on maternity leave Dec. 21st. At this point in time though I am elated that the chair was approved.

What a nice Christmas present, especially if it will be fully covered! Congratulations!

Sorry to hear you hit your out of pocket limit this year, although at least once you hit it, your done for the year. We've never quite reached that. We've never come even close actually.
