Default Celiac and RLS???

I'm coming at this from a different angle.

I usually avoid starches because of hypoglycemia. But under the relentless drumbeat of "eat more complex carbohydrates" I started eating whole wheat, and after I developed intractable anemia I discovered I was allergic to gluten.

I noticed if I break my diet and eat something with gluten in it, that evening I CANNOT keep my legs still. They're so uncomfortable I shift them again and again. It's not pain, it's just... hard to describe. But it's relentless. This has happened at least a half-dozen times... enough for me to say there is a definite pattern. (I must be a slow learner!)

I got to wondering if perhaps celiac is a cause of RLS, since both are associated with anemia.
