Default Gluten-sniffing Service Dog

This idea is absolutely awesome!
An interesting article from USA Today about a dog that is able to tell his owner, who is severely allergic to gluten, if a food contains any of it: http://www.usatoday.com/yourlife/pet...alk11_ST_N.htm

I never would have thought of something like this. Considering there are children with autism whose families have service dogs, and people with psychiatric service dogs (see IAADP - http://www.iaadp.org/psd_tasks.html) and other medical type service dogs that also have problems with gluten - this would be so useful! We are training dogs to sniff out cancers, but I never would have thought about gluten in food.

Amazing.
